Currently we’re looking for:

Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst, your role is vital in utilizing data to inform decision-making within organizations. You’ll be an integral part of our Data Team, contributing to the development and upkeep of our data infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will involve collaborating with stakeholders across various departments to understand their business needs and translate them into actionable dashboards or reports.

Key responsibilities:

• Utilize strong SQL knowledge to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources to provide actionable insights.
• Design and develop interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports to visualize key performance metrics and trends.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Apply business acumen to identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business partners, proactively identifying issues and recommending solutions to drive business growth.
• Continuously evaluate and refine data models and analytical methodologies to ensure accuracy and relevance.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Proficiency in SQL design patterns, optimization techniques, and adhering to best practices for writing efficient and maintainable SQL code. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Quicksight or similar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and articulate the impact of analytical insights on business outcomes.
• Hands-on experience with CI and CD (e.g. GitLab, GitHub, etc.)
• Expertise in dashboard design principles, visualization patterns, user interface best practices, and ensuring intuitive and aesthetically pleasing dashboard layouts.
• The ability and willingness to stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in the field of data analytics and business intelligence
• Strong verbal and written English skills

We will also appreciate:

• Programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java can be advantageous
• Having project management skills, such as familiarity with agile methodologies or experience managing project timelines and deliverables
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and techniques
• Knowledge of data governance principles, data privacy regulations (such as GDPR), and best practices for data security can ensure compliance and mitigate risks associated with handling sensitive data.
• Ability to think strategically and leverage data to drive business decisions
